NSI

The National Security Inspectorate is the leading approvals and certification body that inspects companies providing home security, business security and fire safety services.

Choosing an NSI approved company ensures that the contractor you select works to the highest recognised industry standards as demanded by the Police, Fire & Rescue Services and insurance industry.

NSI approve companies that provide:
• intruder alarms / burglar alarms, cctv, access control
• fire detection and alarm systems
• manned security / keyholding services

NSI is a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Assessing Body for the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS).

BSI Kitemark Scheme for Fire alarm Installations

The Chief Fire Officers Association now strongly recommends third party certification by a UKAS accredited organisation, for companies who design, install, commission and maintain fire detection and alarm systems. This now applies to all fire detection systems, as of 1st September 2008.

MACP have gained the BSI Kitemark licence for Fire Alarm Systems providing our clients with the recommended certification.

The SP203 BSI Kitemark Scheme recognises that many companies specialise in certain aspects of fire alarm services and this is reflected in the four modules included under the scheme.

MACP have gained BSI Kitemark certification in all of the scheme modules as listed.

The four modules are:
• System Design
• Installation
• Commissioning & handover
• Maintenance

NICEIC

The National Inspection Council for Electrical
Installation Contractors ( NICEIC ) is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK.

M A Cooper Projects are registered to the NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671.

Being NICEIC registered not only demonstrates to our customers our skills and professionalism, it also gives them the peace of mind that our products and services are to the best standards within the industry.

The NICEIC offers industry-leading certification services, Building Regulations Schemes, products and support to electrical contractors and many other trades within the construction industry

BAFE

BAFE's scheme objective is to provide a means by which, fire protection system users and regulatory authorities can be confident that the companies providing the design, installation, commissioning, handover and maintenance of such system have processes in place to effectively undertake such activities within their defined scope of work.

Gas Safe

The Gas Safe register has replaced CORGI in Great Britain and the Isle of Man. 

The register exists to protect you, your family, and your property from dangerous gas work.

By law, anyone carrying out work on gas installations and appliances in your home must be on the Gas Safe Register.
